License agreement

Last Updated: September 25, 2026

Andrei Omelianchuk took every photo on this site and owns the copyright in every photo. Licenses are sold under the name Anshar Images. In this agreement, "we" means Anshar Images, and "you" means the buyer of the license.

There are two licenses: Standard for $29 and Extended for $99. The prices are in US dollars. The photo page also shows the prices in other currencies.

Both licenses give you the original full-size file. Both are royalty-free: you pay once. Both are valid worldwide, with no end date.

Why license here

  • Fine art for your walls: the photos are fine art, licensed for wall art.
  • AI rights included: AI rights come with every license.
  • One price per license: the price includes the original file. There is no subscription and there are no credits.
  • Your whole company: the license covers your whole company.
  • Ask the photographer: contact the photographer for custom crops, special licenses or commissions.
  • Exact size: the photo page shows the exact pixel size of the original before you buy.

Standard license: $29

You may use the photo for:

  • Unlimited digital use: websites, social media, apps, e-books, email and online ads.
  • Print, up to 500,000 copies in total: books, magazines, newspapers, brochures, packaging and labels, letterhead, business cards and point-of-sale material.
  • Outdoor advertising, such as billboards, under 500,000 gross impressions. Gross impressions are the total number of times people see the ads.
  • Film, video and TV: productions with a budget up to USD 10,000.
  • Personal use: personal, non-commercial use. This does not include wall art or decor prints of any kind, even at home. They need the Extended license.
  • AI training: training AI and machine-learning models, as the AI training section describes.

Who the license covers:

  • Your whole company: the license covers your whole company (one legal entity), not just one person.
  • Work for clients: you may use the photo in work you do for your clients. The license stays with you.
  • Printers and manufacturers: you may give the file once to a printer or manufacturer that produces your goods.

Examples: a website header, a social media post, a YouTube video, a magazine article, a product label, an AI training data set.

Extended license: $99

The Extended license includes everything in the Standard license, without the limits on copies, impressions and budget:

  • Print: any number of copies.
  • Outdoor advertising: any number of impressions.
  • Film, video and TV: productions with any budget.

It also allows:

  • Wall art, as the Wall art section describes.
  • Merchandise for sale, such as T-shirts, mugs and phone cases. This is allowed only when the product adds creative elements beyond the photo, such as your own design or text.
  • Templates for sale, such as website, presentation and social media templates.

Examples: a framed print for your office, a canvas for your home, a T-shirt with your own design, a website template for sale, a national billboard campaign, a book printed in more than 500,000 copies.

Wall art

Wall art means any print of the photo used to decorate a wall or a space. Examples are prints, posters, canvases, framed pictures, murals and wallpaper.

Wall art needs the Extended license. The Standard license does not allow it, even at home.

With the Extended license, you may:

  • Decorate your home or your business, for example your office, shop, hotel or restaurant.
  • Supply a print to a client, if you are a designer or decorator. You may supply a print, framed or not, for one client's space and charge the client for it. Each client's space needs its own Extended license.
  • Sell wall art to the public, but only when the product adds significant creative or functional elements apart from the photo. Framing or mounting alone is not such an element.

Plain prints for sale need a special license

A plain print, poster or canvas of the photo for sale to the public, framed or not, is not covered by the Standard or the Extended license. It needs a special license and a contract, agreed directly with the photographer. Contact the photographer to agree the terms.

AI training

Both the Standard and the Extended license include AI and machine-learning training. You may use the photo to train AI and machine-learning models.

This also applies to photos marked Editorial Use Only.

This right covers only the photographer's copyright in the photo. It does not cover the rights of people, trademarks, buildings or anything else shown in the photo.

Editorial use

Some photos are marked Editorial Use Only on their page. For such a photo, the editorial rules below override the general offer of this agreement. Your Standard or Extended license still sets the limits on copies, impressions and budget.

Editorial use means using the photo to describe or illustrate news, events, places or topics of public interest.

Allowed:

  • Editorial use in newspapers, magazines, books, websites, blogs, educational material and other publications. This includes paid publications and publications that charge a fee.
  • AI and machine-learning training, as the general offer allows.

Not allowed:

  • Advertising and promotional use.
  • Merchandise.
  • Wall art.
  • Templates for sale.
  • Edits that change the meaning of the photo.

Restrictions for both licenses

You may not:

  • Resell or redistribute the file. You may not sell, share or give away the photo file on its own. You may still give it to a printer or manufacturer, as the Standard license allows.
  • Use the photo as a logo or trademark, or as part of one.
  • Use the photo in illegal, defamatory or pornographic content.
  • Put the photo in a competing gallery or stock photo collection.
  • Claim authorship. You may not claim that you are the author of the photo, or that you own its copyright.
  • Link a recognizable person to sensitive topics. You may not use a photo of a recognizable person in a way that links that person to politics, tobacco, a health condition or adult content.

People and property

Photos come without model or property releases, unless the photo's page says otherwise.

Our promise

Andrei Omelianchuk took every photo and owns its copyright. We have the right to license it to you. If someone claims that the photo itself copies their work, we cover your direct costs from that claim, up to USD 10,000 per license.

What is shown in a photo is not covered. Photos show real places. Any person, building, artwork, mural, sculpture, light show, logo, trademark, product, vehicle or private property in a photo may have its own rights. We do not have permission from their owners unless a photo's page says so. Getting any permission your use needs is your responsibility, and we are not liable for claims about what a photo shows.

Also not covered: changes you make to a photo, use outside your license, and claims you do not report to us in writing within 5 business days after you first receive the claim.

Licenses bought earlier

Licenses bought before September 25, 2026 get the new license of the same name, and keep every right their old license gave.
